Exact Dose for Medicine
As a medical field professional, Matt Battle realized the need for developing an exact dosing mechanism for medical purposes. His extensive research revealed a large discrepancy between child safety and existing medical dosing mechanisms.
The Exact-O Dose
Matt Battle / Cleveland, OH
Matt had originally sought the help of engineer with no true product development experience. The outcome was a complex design with high manufacturing costs and low reliability.
TEDAC greatly reduced the complexity of the original design using design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) techniques.
The result was a design meeting all functionality and technical requirements. Ensuring the safety of children while giving Matt a path forward for a licensing agreement.
Invention Redesigns
Generating value from engineering
It's not easy to get an invention right. Often times, the requirements change, market information reveals itself, and advancements in manufacturing come to fruition.
TEDAC remains involved in understanding the changing manufacturing environment to help our inventors understand what techniques would serve best.
Our engineering approach keeps designs simple while amplifying functionality - keeping costs low and production easy.
